Human Rights Management

- Grievance Handling and Management System for
Human Rights Violations

PANASIA operates a Grievance Committee to monitor, provide
consultation, and take appropriate actions related to human rights
management. The company has appointed grievance counselors and
established reporting channels that allow employees to submit concerns
or reports regarding potential human rights violations.
All reports are treated with strict confidentiality and anonymity to ensure
that employees are protected from any disadvantage or retaliation
resulting from their reports. PANASIA is committed to safeguarding the
rights and dignity of every employee through a fair and transparent
grievance handling process.

PANASIA Co., Ltd. is fully committed to fulfilling its social responsibilities and upholding the dignity and
value of every individual through proactive human rights management across all business activities.
To this end, we define our responsibilities to respect human rights for our employees, subsidiaries, partners, customers,
and local communities, and hereby declare the following principles of human rights management:

  • 1. We support and comply with international standards and norms that promote the values of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.
  • 2. We take proactive measures to prevent human rights violations and strive to provide effective remedies when they occur.
  • 3. We respect diversity among all stakeholders, including employees, and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, disability, gender, age, place of birth, or political opinion.
  • 4. We guarantee freedom of association and collective bargaining, and we strictly prohibit any form of forced or child labor.
  • 5. We comply with all labor principles recommended by the International Labour Organization (ILO) and ratified by the state,
    and we promote industrial safety and health to ensure a safe working environment for all stakeholders
  • 6. We pursue responsible supply-chain management by treating subsidiaries and partners fairly in all contracts, transactions, and activities, and by supporting them in practicing human rights management.
  • 7. We strive to ensure customer safety, health, and protection of personal information.
  • 8. We respect and protect the human rights of local residents in the regions where we operate.
  • 9. We comply with domestic and international environmental laws and regulations and are committed to environmental protection and pollution prevention.

- Code of Conduct for a Healthy Workplace Culture

To comply with Article 76-2 of the Labor Standards Act and to realize the ESG principle of respect for human rights, PANASIA has established a Code of Conduct for
Workplace Ethics. We are committed to fostering a Happy Work Campus, where all employees—regardless of hierarchy, position, or gender—are treated equally and work together in a fair, open, and positive environment free from discrimination.

In line with PANASIA's principle of prioritizing the environment, we have established an eco-centered management system and conduct ongoing human rights and
environmental training programs.

- Operation of the Grievance Committee

PANASIA has appointed one representative each from labor and management to serve on the Grievance Committee, which addresses employee concerns related to personnel matters, compensation, work environment, welfare, interpersonal relationships, workplace harassment, and sexual harassment.
All reports are handled confidentially and are processed and communicated within 10 days of receipt, in principle.
There have been no grievance cases reported or processed in the past three years.

- Organizational Culture Improvement

PANASIA established the Junior Board in April 2021 to build a horizontal, open culture and encourage innovative ideas from young employees. The board meets monthly to suggest improvements, which are reviewed through executive meetings and reflected in company policies.
Key initiatives include improving meeting and work culture, promoting ESG and compliment campaigns, and enhancing the 52-hour work and smart work systems.

PANASIA Carbon-Neutral Forest in Haeundae Arboretum
PANASIA donated funds to establish the PANASIA Carbon-Neutral Forest within the Haeundae Arboretum in Busan.
A total of 450 trees, including zelkova, horse chestnut, and holly—species known for their excellent carbon absorption and fine dust reduction—were planted over 5,500 m².
The forest is expected to absorb about 5 tons of CO₂ per year, with even greater impact as the trees mature.
Carbon-Free Classroom Forest Project
PANASIA launched an initiative to improve air quality in elementary school classrooms by placing air-purifying plants.
Schools located in areas frequently affected by fine dust in Busan were selected, and educational programs were provided to teach students about the causes, risks, and prevention of air pollution,
raising environmental awareness among children.
“Helping Hands” Marine Environment Cleanup
To protect the marine environment, PANASIA employees
voluntarily donate a portion of their monthly salaries to a fund
used for plogging activities—collecting litter along the coast and at
Jinhae Sokcheon Port.
The donation fund also supports meals and snacks for
underprivileged residents, combining environmental action with
community care.

Information Security

PANASIA safeguards its information assets and personal data through regulations on asset management, risk assessment, HR/outsource security, and privacy protection. New assets are identified, classified, and managed according to their importance, and all employees—including contractors—receive annual information security training and sign confidentiality agreements.

    PANASIA has established a structured information security organization consisting of asset users, managers, administrators, the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and the Information Security Committee, each with defined roles and responsibilities.

    PANASIA updates its privacy policy regularly, conducts annual data protection training, and ensures system security through access control, password enforcement, and terminal management.
  • Asset Classification and Documentation
    Information assets are categorized (system, network, software, documents, physical, and human assets) and managed through asset registers, change/disposal forms, and security review reports.

    A disaster recovery plan and configuration management solution have been implemented to ensure data integrity and strengthen system reliability.
