Panasia awarded for topping 300 mill. in 2020 exports

Panasia won the $300 million Export Tower on the 57^th Trade Day. The event was organized by ‘the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy’ and hosted by ‘the Korea International Trade Association’. The trade day was held to give traders who contributed to expanding exports and exploring emerging overseas markets despite the U.S.-China trade dispute and COVID-19 pandemic.

On December 8, there was an award ceremony at COEX in Samseong-dong. On this day, a total of 1,505 companies won the export tower award. Especially, Panasia won the $300 million Export Tower, with its export performance rising more than $200 million in a year, following the $100 million Export Tower Award in 2019.

Panasia's main products are SCRUBBER and BWTS (Ballast Water Treatment System) which more than 85% of its sales generated by exports. In other words, it is a global eco-friendly company related to water quality, atmospheric environment and supply of renewable energy. SCRUBBER was developed and commercialized for the first time in Korea with its own technology and achieved the world's No. 1 market share. In addition, it recently completed its performance to be compacted and to be more improved than previous SCRUBBER. Recently, the optimized SCRUBBER can be provided well for all type of the vessels.

It is currently operating its own local subsidiaries in Japan, China and the Netherlands, and it is working with 49 partners in 37 countries around the world to develop the competitiveness in overseas markets. Recently, it is difficult to operate overseas due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, Panasia is carrying out commissioning and untact services with local service agents. It is also actively operated non-face-to-face services and online marketing through maritime satellite control systems.
